Hi, I was wondering when clothing sales start in Toronto Ontario, Canada? I am looking at a leather jacket from Danier Leather for example thats currently on sale (Sept 29, 2009). Should I purchase it now, or maybe wait till winter starts, or before winter starts, like in a month or something for stores to have better sales? Thanks!
I don't know about Canada but I'm pretty sure that this is universal: clothing sales start in mid-seasons and during the end of seasons. Most stores generally have a sale rack anyway where their old lines of clothing go. Christmas/New Year is also a good time to pick up a few bargains. If your leather jacket is on sale now, I recommend that you buy it now. It will return to full retail price once winter starts and remain that price till it ends. Winter clothes = expensive in winter, cheap in summer.
